About Us
Our vision for Easy Tiger Group began a few years ago when we imagined a dynamic entertainment and hospitality venue in St Helens, the gateway to the stunning Bay of Fires on Tasmania’s East Coast. With the exciting launch of a new mountain bike trail network in St Helens and the world-famous Derby trails just 40 minutes away, everything fell into place. Think St Helens: breathtaking beaches, world-class fishing, thrilling mountain biking, and adventure. It's the holiday destination you wish you could call home—this is St Helens!
We sought to create a vibrant space that seamlessly blends entertainment, great food, and an exceptional brewery. Enter Thirsty Tiger beers, expertly crafted to balance the best of traditional and craft styles—these are Great F#%&ing Beers! We found the perfect location in an old roller-skating rink that, despite its need for love and hard work, had excellent potential.
Fast forward a few years, and we've transformed that building into a stunning showcase for the region. Our fully licensed boutique cinema ranks among the best in Australia, featuring the latest releases, art house films, and adventure flicks, plus private hire options for special occasions. Complement this with a modern bar, a cozy café, a thriving brewery, and two high-spec kitchens all in a family-friendly atmosphere. And let’s not forget our amazing sun-soaked beer garden—the perfect place to unwind with friends and enjoy our diverse offerings.
We are ready to welcome you to Easy Tiger—a true centerpiece for the community, where unforgettable experiences await!

Sustainability at Easy Tiger & The Thirsty Tiger Brewery
At Easy Tiger and The Thirsty Tiger Brewery, sustainability isn’t an afterthought — it’s built into everything we do. We’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint, conserving resources, and supporting our local community. Through major initiatives, we’ve become recognised leaders in Responsible Tourism and Sustainability, and we’re always looking for new ways to improve.
Our Sustainability Initiatives
Energy efficiency: We’ve installed 6mm double-glazed windows across our buildings to improve thermal performance and reduce energy use.
Heat exchange systems: Both our Cinema and Brewery use advanced heat exchange technology to circulate tempered air and water, lowering energy consumption and operating costs.
Reusables at events: For no-glass events, we use durable, washable plastic schooner cups — reducing single-use waste.
Low-waste dining: Food is served on enamel plates with recycled cutlery, cutting down on landfill.
Solar power: Our solar system is already in place, and we’re preparing to install house batteries to further boost our renewable energy use.
Supporting local farmers: All spent grain from the brewery goes to local farms, providing feed for livestock and diverting waste from landfill.
Clean water: Brewery water is treated onsite so that only clean water is returned to TasWater’s system.
Recycling & waste minimisation: We recycle wherever possible and work constantly to minimise waste across every part of our operations.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re committed to going further — continuing to lead the way in responsible hospitality, protecting the environment, and supporting our community.
